Park View Acupuncture & Chiropractic Clinic opened in April 1996 with the attendance of the then Mayor of Worthing Councillor Peter Green.

During the first couple of years it was only Jan & Sarah Olsen practising in the clinic but since then it has grown to include three chiropractors, three acupuncturists and a sports injury/massage/manual lymphatic drainage practitioner.

All our practitioners are highly qualified and skilled in their speciality and they are all members of recognised professional associations.

At Park View Clinic we believe in tailoring the treatment to each individual patient’s needs and we do not employ ‘one size fits all’ treatment regimes.

Everyone at the clinic regularly attends post-graduate courses and seminars to update their skills and make use of the latest research findings to optimise the benefit to their patients.

By far the majority of people come to us seeking help for a particular set of problems/symptoms and we always do our utmost to help them. We often find that physical fitness, wear & tear, past and present work, and general lifestyle influence any particular predicament.

This means that a ‘cure’ often isn’t achievable and that long-term management may be necessary to maintain the improvement reached during the first part of the treatment. This can be likened to regular dental check-ups or regular servicing of a car.

The frequency of any maintenance visits will vary from person to person but for the majority of people it is once every two to four months.

We also believe that the first point of contact, the reception, should be friendly and approachable but furthermore have the responsibility of ensuring that our patients follow their recommended treatment plan as closely as possible thus ensuring optimum recovery and continued well-being. After all, we are here to help and advise you.
